WhatToEat (the "App") is a personal food list management tool. We value your privacy and this policy explains how we handle your data.
All restaurants, lists, tiers, dining records, and notes you create are stored entirely on your device (SQLite database) and are never uploaded to any server.
Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all local data. We recommend regularly using the "Export Backup" feature to save your data.
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data, such as:

For more details, see the Google Privacy Policy.
When adding a restaurant, if you use the search feature, your location query is sent to the Google Places API to retrieve addresses and coordinates. No other personal data is transmitted.
Feedback you voluntarily submit (including optional nickname, feedback text, device info, and optional screenshots) is sent to our server via a secure connection. Feedback data is used solely to improve the App and is not shared with third parties.
When sharing lists via QR code or file export, the shared data only includes the restaurant information you choose to export (names, tiers, tags, etc.). Sharing is entirely initiated by you, and data is transferred directly to the recipient without passing through our servers.
The App is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
This policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you within the App of significant changes.
For privacy-related questions, please use the "Feedback" feature in the App or email us at momowu.official@gmail.com.
